Bayer China Week

Background: On September, 2006, Bayer held one-week event entitled as ¡°Bayer China Week¡± in Shanghai. The event aims to introduce Bayer¡¯s latest achievements in China to different target audiences and, establish its leading position in the industry and inspire employees¡¯ sense of belonging. Thunder Communications was involved in overall planning, budget estimation, preparations and management and execution of Bayer Integrated Site Shanghai Inauguration ceremony, PRDC opening ceremony, BMS Mitsui Signing Ceremony, Customer Dinner Party and Employee Event.

Challenges: Since Bayer China Week was a complicated event, featuring varied venues management, diversity in event content, complex setup and equipment, long time span and high-level hospitality, it was undoubtedly a huge task for all Thunder staff to finish every event with guaranteed quality on time. It was also a serious challenge for us in physical fitness, man power and coordination.

Solutions: Assign a door-keeper for each event to coordinate all related vendors, materials and equipment, other staffs to support on site by fully using of time between every event. Thanks to the joint efforts with venders and, reasonable time and manpower management, one-week Bayer China Week was fulfilled successfully as planed.

Achievements: With smooth implementation of Bayer China Week, all guests and attendees were impressed by this one-week event and gave high recognition. Currently, Bayer China Week has been one of special cases for Thunder in high-level standard, large budget and scale event management.
